The Crush

I think I have a crush. I can’t remember the last time I had a crush. I have done the on again of again thing forever. I have done the hook up-date-dissolve routine and I have even mastered friendship morphing into romance.

But I can’t remember the last time I had a crush. Like a - wow what a cute boy and then he opens his mouth and I am actually intrigued rather than annoyed - crush.

Not lust, not like, a bonafied tenth grade crush.

I don’t think I am going to do anything about it just yet. I might just marinate in this feeling and see where it goes. You never know. I might end up asking HIM on a date. Wow, now that would be a first in a while.
